About Meridian

Meridian, our beloved 1972 Pearson 390, is more than just a boat—she’s part of our family. When we first found her over 30 years ago, Meridian was on the hard undergoing some work after engine failure. She had traveled from Florida to the Bahamas and back, then up to New Jersey.  She was a bit of a mess (to say the least), but her graceful lines and sturdy build promised new life and endless horizons.

Meridian is a Pearson 390. The 390s were built for the charter trade in 1972/73. The future Pearson 419, 424 and 422 all derived from this hull design.

She is a Bill Shaw design.
